Malaysia's badminton "Letty Combination" has a considerable income in the first half of 2025, second only to the "Cheah Su Combination"

Although the women's doubles team of the Malaysian national badminton team, Tan Kang Lok and Tina are not as rich as their men's doubles teammates Xie Dingfeng and So Wei Yi, they still earned a lot in the first half of the season. It is reported that the Letty group has won a total of $145,277.5 in prize money after only more than half of the season.

The Indonesia Open reached the biggest prize in the final. The amount came from the 10 tournaments in which Letty competed, with the biggest amount coming at last week's Indonesia Super 1000 Badminton 2025, where they finished runners-up but still took home US$50,750.

Last month, the Letty duo won the Thailand Badminton Super 500 tournament and also took home a prize of US$37,525. The rest of the prize money will come from the US$18,050 prize money for the runner-up of the Indonesia Badminton Masters and US$13,300 for the top four of the Badminton Super 750 in India.

Lettie's prize money in the first half of the season even surpassed that of the current world No. 1 Malaysian men's doubles libero Goh Shi Fei and Noi Zuitin, who have won about US$101,100 in eight tournaments this year. Malaysia's world No. 2 pair of Cheah Su won a total of about US$193,400 in 10 tournaments and won three titles. Letty will continue their quest for the US$70,300 prize money at the Japan Badminton Super 750 from 15 to 20 July.
