The Japan Life Team, the women's group of the Japan Table Tennis T-League, announced on the 18th local time that Hina Hayada (from Kitakyushu City), who won the silver medal in the women's team competition and the bronze medal in singles at the Paris Olympics last summer, will be the new captain of the team. In the new season to meet the challenge of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the department, Nippon Life aims for the championship for the first time in two seasons.

The Nippon Life team will play the opening match of the new season against the Japan Paint Team on July 27 at the Yoyogi No. 2 Gymnasium in Tokyo. The regular season runs through March 8 and will see six teams from each gender compete for the top three teams in the playoffs.
