Hello everyone, I'm Gaming Xiaodi.
As you probably already know, Yuanliu's final profession, the Yuanliu Assassin, will officially launch in the upcoming S43 season, completing the set of Yuanliu's five professions. However, while they all belong to Yuanliu and share some similarities in skill mechanics, the power levels of different professions vary. In this episode, we'll adopt a popular format to sharply critique the strength of Yuanliu's five professions from strong to weak. Of course, these are personal opinions, for reference only.

This was the first Yuanliu profession released in Honor of Kings. Its two most prominent features are tankiness and abundant crowd control, making it suitable for both the Fighter lane and Tank jungle playstyles. Unfortunately, it underwent several adjustments in subsequent versions, and its current strength is far from its peak. Its win rate is relatively low now, especially in high-tier matches where it's basically bottom-tier, and its player count isn't high. However, its appearance rate in KPL tournaments is still quite good. Based on casual matches, overall it can only be rated as "weak".

This was the second Yuanliu profession released. The Yuanliu Mage is also the only Yuanliu profession whose skills have been completely reworked. Overall, its strength has always felt quite solid. Its biggest characteristic is its extremely exaggerated damage output, seemingly surpassing even burst mages like Xiao Qiao and Angela by a tier. Its win rate in the game is currently very good, basically top-tier for the Mid lane. However, its popularity has never been great, with relatively few players. Overall, it can still be rated as "strong".

This profession was the third released, not too long ago. Honestly, when I saw the preview videos, I thought this hero was indeed very powerful. In actual gameplay, the rapid sweeping shots of its two ultimates are quite impressive visually, but they aren't easy to hit opponents. The displacement effect of its second skill also requires an opponent as a target to trigger. Therefore, its current strength can only be described as average, overall earning a "above average" rating.

This is the fourth profession, released quite recently. Its biggest feature is the bouncing effect of its ultimate. While its practical utility in battle isn't as great as imagined, its visual spectacle is indeed strong. The real benefit of Yuanliu Support lies in its second skill, which expands teammates' skill casting range and provides a small displacement, offering significant synergy for specific heroes like Di Renjie. Paired with Yuanliu Support, Di Renjie's win rate has increased noticeably. Yuanliu Support's own win rate in high-tier matches is also among the top for Supports. Based on its current performance, overall it can be rated as "top-tier".

As the final profession to be released, the Yuanliu Assassin's dazzling effect is as impressive as ever, looking very playable. However, since it hasn't officially launched yet, its current strength is unknown. After all, a hero needs to be actually played to understand its true characteristics. So, no rating will be given for now. What do you think the Yuanliu Assassin will achieve?

That's all for this content. If you found it good, feel free to like it for support. If you have anything else to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below, and I'll check them all!
