On April 2 afternoon, Vietnam national futsal team played their second friendly match in Thailand, facing Blackpearl club – one of the formidable teams in Thai futsal. This opponent possesses two skilled Spanish foreign players, contributing to a technical and well-organized style of play.

However, a turning point came at minute 15 when Blackpearl effectively utilized a one-touch combination before unleashing a powerful shot, sending the ball straight into the top of the net, leaving goalkeeper Van Tu unable to save. This was also the only goal in the first half, concluding the initial 20 minutes with the advantage temporarily leaning towards the home team.

In the second half, coach Diego Giustozzi made a change in the goalkeeper position by giving the opportunity to Ho Van Y. This match was considered a rehearsal, so the coaching staff allowed most players to play, except Tran Thai Huy who had to sit out due to injury.

In response, the red-shirted team switched to a power-play tactic to seek opportunities. This effort was rewarded at minute 36 when Chau Doan Phat handled skillfully and finished accurately, reducing the score to 1-2.

Just one minute later, continuing with power-play, Vietnam national team scored the equalizer. Da Hai received the ball in the central area before unleashing a sharp angled shot, bringing the match back to a tie. In the final minutes, Blackpearl also attempted power-play but did not achieve results. Ultimately, the two teams drew 2-2 in a match rich in experimentation and contribution.
