Continue to improve the coaching staff for football in Vietnam.

Opening ceremony for the C/AFC/VFF Certificate Football Coach Training Course in Ho Chi Minh City.

On April 2, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, the opening ceremony for the C/AFC/VFF Certificate Football Coach Training Course was held solemnly, attended by representatives from Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports and Physical Education, the Grassroots Football Department, the Training & Organization Department of the Vietnam Football Federation, the teaching staff, assistants, and all participants.

This is the first course implemented under the cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Football Federation and Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports and Physical Education, aiming to enhance training effectiveness and develop a high-quality football coaching workforce.

Representing the teaching staff, instructor Phan Ba Hung introduced an overview of the training program designed according to AFC standards, featuring modern content, high practicality, and closely aligned with current football development requirements. The teaching team commits to imparting knowledge diligently and encourages participants to actively study, exchange ideas, and flexibly apply them in practical coaching work.

On behalf of the participants, class leader Pham Ngoc Uyen expressed honor in joining the course and pledged to strictly adhere to regulations, actively study and train to improve professional skills, better meeting job requirements in the future.

Over the years, the Vietnam Football Federation has consistently emphasized training and developing coaches through regularly organizing courses and professional seminars. This C/AFC/VFF Certificate Football Coach Training Course in Ho Chi Minh City is expected to further enhance the quality of the coaching staff, thereby contributing positively to the sustainable development of Vietnamese football.

The course runs from April 2 to April 14, 2026, combining theory and practice according to AFC C-level coach standards. Upon completion, qualified participants will be awarded the C/AFC/VFF certificate by the Vietnam Football Federation as stipulated.
