Forward Nguyễn Tiến Linh continues to impress fans, not only shining on the pitch but also spreading a positive image in everyday life
On the evening of April 4th, forward Nguyễn Tiến Linh once again caught fans' attention by sharing images of charitable activities on his personal Facebook page. On his personal page, Tiến Linh wrote: "If life isn't dazzling, what then? Then I spend time helping someone. Even though life remains unglamorous and I hear criticism daily, I feel I'm still living a life beneficial to society, dear.".
Accompanying the status update were images of rice delivered to a community kitchen. Notably, all this rice was donated by Tiến Linh himself. A shared piece of information stated: "Thank you player Tiến Linh for kindly donating 500kg of good rice to the kitchen to cook meals for the people.".
This is not a rare occasion for the 1997-born forward to demonstrate a spirit of sharing with the community. Previously, right after winning the Vietnam Golden Ball award in 2024, Tiến Linh took an action that earned admiration from many when he dedicated the entire prize money to charity.
Specifically, the Vietnam national team forward used the entire bonus money worth 40 million VND to support disadvantaged individuals in a program, while also contributing funds to build a boarding house for mountainous area students.
Tiến Linh shared: “The glory achieved is also for contribution. I wish to share this happiness by dedicating all the prize money to help those in hardship. I only hope to spread more positive values to the community.”.
In fact, Tiến Linh's charitable actions have been sustained over a long period. After winning the ASEAN Cup 2024 with the Vietnam national team, he once donated 2.5 tons of rice to two free-of-charge kitchens at Bach Mai Hospital and K Tan Trieu Hospital, aiming to support patients in difficult circumstances.
What is special is that despite having accompanied charitable activities for a long time, Tiến Linh rarely publicizes them widely. He chooses to contribute quietly, silently providing warm meals for patients and their relatives, instead of seeking attention.
