Vietnam's young stars shine brightly, securing a major victory over Myanmar in their Southeast Asian tournament debut.

Vietnam launched their Southeast Asian Futsal Championship journey with a vibrant 4-0 victory against Myanmar. It is noteworthy that they overwhelmed their opponents strategically while also introducing a hopeful new generation.

Vietnam overwhelms Myanmar thanks to youthful energy.

From the opening whistle, the Vietnamese team proactively pushed their formation forward, continuously pressuring the opponent with varied combinations. Although the first half was quite tense as Myanmar attempted deep defensive retreats, the turning point arrived at the 8th minute. Following Thái Huy's excellent effort, Nhan Gia Hưng appeared timely to finish neatly, opening the score 1-0.

In the second half, Vietnam's superior class and physical fitness completely controlled the court. Smooth combinations at high speed quickly dismantled Myanmar's defensive system. The highlight of this "four-star" victory was the brilliance of the young faces in Coach Diego Giustozzi's lineup.

First, the performance of Nguyễn Đa Hải must be mentioned. Within just under two minutes at the start of the second half, this striker born in 2005 ignited the entire stadium. With a precise opening shot and a subsequent easy tap-in, Đa Hải completed his own double, raising the score to 3-0 and extinguishing any hopes of a comeback from the opponent.

With youthful faces, Vietnam achieved a major 4-0 victory over Myanmar.

Meanwhile, newcomer Nguyễn Thạc Hiếu (2004) also left his mark with a classy "super goal." The Thai Sơn Bắc player executed a skillful solo dribble before finishing at an extremely high level, sealing the 4-0 win. The refined individual technique of this 20-year-old player demonstrates great confidence among the young talents. The "oldest" among the goal scorers, Nhan Gia Hưng, is actually only born in 2002. Though just 24 years old, Gia Hưng displayed the composure of a pillar. His goal that broke the deadlock was the catalyst for the team's flourishing in the remaining time.

Even in the final minutes, Myanmar attempted power-play tactics to find a consolation goal, but the focus of goalkeeper Văn Tú and the courageous defense helped the Vietnamese team keep a clean sheet. The 4-0 victory not only secured Vietnam three crucial points but also sent a strong message to regional opponents. The fact that players born in 2002, 2004, or 2005 collectively scored shows Vietnam's youth development in Futsal is on the right track, ready for further goals on the continental stage.
