Manchester United announced the 26-man Europa League roster, and one person can only watch the game! Mr. 40 million came back to help

Manchester United's two injured players, Amad Diallo and De Ligt, both travelled to the first leg of the Europa League away to Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League, signaling that they are healed. However, coach Ruben Amorim stressed that the two will not start and will decide whether to play or not depending on the situation.

Ahmad missed 21 games with a serious ankle injury in February and was at risk of being reimbursed for the season, but he recovered early in record time. De Ligt, on the other hand, has missed the last six games and his injury is a sprained ankle. Both took part in their normal training session on Wednesday and Amorim said in his pre-match press conference: "They won't start, but they can play in the game. The rest of the players, we have games tomorrow and we will train on Friday. Because we still need to prepare for Sunday's Premier League game against Brentford, we've brought the young players with us."

Amorim's words also explain the presence of Chitto Obi, who did not qualify for the Europa League, who certainly missed the Europa League against Bilbao but went to the Basque Country to train and feel the atmosphere. The rest of the Academy youngsters such as left-back Harry Armas, centre-back Tyler Frederiksen, right-back Jaden Camarson, midfielder Sekou Koné and striker Bendito Mantato could be the same.

According to UEFA rules, 12 substitutes can be placed on the bench for Europa League fixtures, with United having 26 players in the line-up, meaning at least three will not be included in the squad for the game, with unregistered Obi and third goalkeeper Tom Heaton occupying two places, with one of those players still to be missed.

One confirmed starting XI player was Manuel Ugarte, who was at the press conference alongside Amorim, and it was customary for the players to appear with the boss as a regular in the game. The Red Devils are likely to be unbeaten on the road and return home to try to qualify, as has been the case in the previous two knockout rounds against Real Sociedad and Lyon.

If they knock out Bilbao to reach the final and win the cup, Manchester United will be able to achieve their goals for the season, including winning the cup and qualifying for the Champions League. But Amorim insists that even that cannot be said to have saved the season, as the Premier League results are so poor and the team's problems are deeply rooted.

"We know that nothing is enough to save the season." Amorim explained: "The Europa League is not going to change our problems, winning the Champions League will bring more money, but all the problems are still there. It's just a shortcut to European qualification, that's all. I know very well that we need to spend more time and in different ways to address the root causes. We have to be consistent, make the right decisions, make good transfers, combine the Academy and change the perception of the fans. To get the club back to the top, that's the change we need."

Bilbao will be a tough opponent to deal with, sitting fourth in La Liga and boasting the best defensive record in the league, but the injury of midfielder Oyhan Sanset, who has scored 15 goals, is a big boon for United. However, Amorim reminded his disciples of Nico Williams, who had returned from injury. "Bilbao is strong, the style of play is intense, every confrontation is aggressive. Their players are good at one-on-one and Williams is a special player. They have the best defence in La Liga and we're missing goals, so it's going to be a tough game. They're going to show a different level in front of the home crowd, so we've got to be ready to face a very, very strong opponent."

Amorim inspired Hojlund, who scored in stoppage time last time in the Premier League: "Rasmus [Hojlund] worked very hard and some of our goals, especially in this game, his movement will be very important. I think he's in good shape, he's in good spirit, and he's going to play a good game tomorrow. Our focus is on helping existing players. Rasmus scored a goal in the last game and you can see he's very talented. Joshua [Zirkze] is also talented, Cheedo (Obi) is talented, we have to improve the level of the players, but in order to improve the level of individual performance, we have to improve the overall performance of the team, the way we play. We're far from a really solid team that can help strikers score goals, and the lack of goals has cost us a lot of points."

Manchester United to Bilbao 26-man roster: Andre Onana, Altay Baindier, Heaton; Amas, Patrick Dolgu, Luke Shaw, De Ligt, Evans, Frederickson, Carmarsen, Lindelof, Maguire, Lenny Yoro, Mazraoui; Casemiro, Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, Koné, Kobe Maynor, Mason Mount, Ugarte; Ahmad, Mantato, Garnacho, Hojlund, Obi.
