It was revealed that Manchester United will sign another 1 million British demons! The new left gate will report next month, and the two youth training will be rented out next season

Manchester United are expected to sign Southampton young defender Harley Emsden-James for £1 million this summer, with the Reds currently leading the race, according to the Daily Mail.

The 16-year-old has also attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, but United are now hoping that technical director Jason Wilcox's relationship with Southampton could help secure the centre-back who is considered promising. Before joining Manchester United, Wilcox was Southampton's sporting director.

According to British media, Manchester United have held talks with Amsden and negotiations are going well, and he is likely to choose to join the Red Devils' academy system. Amsden has only made two appearances for the Saints in the Premier League Under-18 league and has never been close to first-team action, so he's only a reserve for the future.

Manchester United brought in Arsenal's Aiden Haven for £1.5 million in January, and at one point he was given a regular place by Ruben Amorim during the season, only injury prevented him from developing further. Manchester United also brought in the likes of Sekou Koné and Cheeto Obi last year, as part of the new owner's philosophy of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's quest to tap into young talent.

Next month, United's pre-booked Paraguayan left-back Diego Leon, who has reached the age limit of 18, will also be officially joined. Leon's £3 million move was completed in January, when he passed a medical and visited the Carrington training ground.

After completing a medical at Manchester United, León returned to Paraguay to continue playing for the club Côte de Portno and made more first-team appearances. According to Brazilian media, Leon is expected to travel to England in the second week of June and adapt to Manchester's new environment before the start of pre-season training in July.

Manchester United are currently on a playoff tour of Asia, after which the break will begin before pre-season preparations for the 2025/26 season begin in early July. It is reported that although Leon only turned 18 in April, he is already regarded as a "new first-team signing", so he will participate in a pre-season trip to the United States, and before flying to the United States, Amorim will lead the team to play a warm-up game in Sweden first.

Manchester United currently have four left-backs in Patrick Dolgu, Luke Shaw, Harry Armas and Terrell Malacia, with 25-year-old Dutchman Malacia on loan in the second half of last season to PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie after winning the title but deciding not to buy it out, with Ten Hag's €15 million first signing in charge having to return to the Red Devils in disgrace.

Ahead of the first leg of the Europa League semi-final, United have also confirmed the free signing of 18-year-old striker Enzo Kana-Biyik.

However, the Cameroonian Frenchman is yet to qualify for the first team and will be loaned out to Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Swiss side Sporting Lausanne for the upcoming season. Recently, Enzo Cana-Björk was selected for France's Under-18 national team.

British media claim that Sekou Kone, who is currently playing with Manchester United in Asia, may also be loaned to Lausanne Sport, and the two could bring a loan fee of £1 million.

The 19-year-old is from Mali and joined the Red Devils' academy system last year. Amorim praised Koné after United's clash with the ASEAN Stars on Wednesday: "He'll get more minutes in the next game [against Hong Kong] and he's been doing well. All the young players gave their best and that's the most important thing."
