Pegula had won both previous encounters with Schneider without dropping a set, but she started poorly in this match. She overcame an early break in the deciding set, winning six consecutive games to complete the comeback. After this victory, Pegula's 2026 season record in deciding sets improved to 9-1, with a winning rate of 90%. In the semifinals, Pegula will face compatriot youngster Jovic, who defeated eighth seed Kalinskaya 6-3/6-4 to reach her first clay-court tour semifinal.

In a clash between two former tournament champions, home favorite and fifth seed Keys reversed third seed Bencic 4-6/6-3/6-2, returning to the Charleston semifinals after seven years. Keys will face Ukrainian player Starodubtseva for a spot in the final; Starodubtseva defeated another American player, Kessler, 6-4/6-4.

In women's doubles, Bondar/Frech eliminated fourth seed Kato/Wormoes 6-1/6-4 and will face Krawczyk/McNally for the championship.
