Tran Thi Thanh Thuy achieves a memorable milestone in the Japanese National Volleyball Championship

With just four matches left in the group stage of the Japanese National Volleyball Championship, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is assured of reaching this significant milestone.

After 20 rounds in this season's Japanese National Volleyball Championship, main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy ranks 14th among the top scorers.

Specifically, she has accumulated a total of 561 points for Gunma Green Wings Club across 37 appearances for the team. This includes 501 attack points, 40 blocking points, and 20 service points.

Thanh Thuy has consistently remained in the top 20 scorers in the SV.League for many months, and unless a major upset occurs, she will definitely finish the group stage of this season's SV.League within that top 20.

The 1.90m tall hitter of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team still has four group stage matches to play and will undoubtedly further increase her point total.

Thanh Thuy currently scores 83 points more than Nakamoto Yuzu (478 points/40 matches), who ranks 20th in the top scorers list of the SV.League 2025-2026.

This point gap is nearly impossible to overcome in four matches, unless Nakamoto Yuzu performs exceptionally in all remaining group stage matches while Thanh Thuy fails to score any additional points.

It is extremely unlikely for both scenarios to happen simultaneously. Even the occurrence of one of these scenarios is almost unimaginable.

Therefore, Thanh Thuy is virtually certain to finish the group stage of the SV.League 2025-2026 within the top 20 highest scorers of the Japanese National Championship.

This is a truly memorable milestone for "4T" in a season marking her meaningful comeback after a difficult 2024 due to knee injury impacts.
