Main attacker Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh of the Information Corps Club suffered a hand injury during training while preparing for the 2026 Hoa Lu Cup. Therefore, she did not participate in the tournament held last month. Many fans are concerned whether Kieu Trinh can recover in time to participate in the first round of the 2026 national championship, scheduled from April 6-19 in Hanoi.

Later, coach Pham Van Long confirmed that attacker Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh is unlikely to recover from her bone injury in time for the first stage of the 2026 National Club Championship.

Recently, Kieu Trinh posted on her personal page a picture of one hand bandaged along with a status update: "The doctor advised limiting movement... so I'm just going out for milk tea."

Under the post, many fans sent encouraging messages to Kieu Trinh and wished her a speedy recovery. Account Pham Van Hung wrote: "Wishing you a quick recovery to return to the court."

Kieu Trinh is the main scoring force for the Information Corps Team 19 thanks to her intelligent play and diverse ball-handling skills. However, the injury to her left hand means the attacker born in 2001 cannot compete in the first stage of the 2026 National Championship, forcing the team to add two Chinese foreign players, Che Wenhan and Sun Jie, to strengthen the offensive power.

Kieu Trinh is not only a talented volleyball athlete but also possesses a gentle, attractive appearance that draws attention from fans. In 2023, she won the title of Volleyball Queen at the VTV Cup.
