Opposite hitter Hoàng Thị Kiều Trinh unfortunately sustained an injury during training preparations for the 2026 Hoa Lư Bình Điền Cup, and she missed this tournament with Club Binh Chủng Thông Tin Binh Đoàn 19.

Coach Phạm Văn Long stated that Kiều Trinh's injury is quite severe, and she is unlikely to return to play in Stage 1 of the 2026 National Volleyball Championship for Clubs. To strengthen the offensive power in the absence of Kiều Trinh, the management of Binh Chủng Thông Tin Binh Đoàn 19 recruited two Chinese foreign players: main attacker Che Wenhan and opposite hitter Sun Jie.
